Tian’anmen Square

Beijing, the capital of the People's Republic of China, is the country's historic center of power, culture and finance. The tour starts in the heart of the city, in Tian'anmen Square. You'll tour the grounds and see the various halls and monuments.

Forbidden City

From Tian'anmen Square, you'll walk to the Forbidden City, also known as the Imperial Palace Museum. Spanning over 180 acres, the Forbidden City was the seat of imperial China, and its collection of great halls, temples, antiques and treasures offer unique insight into China's history.

Temple of Heaven

The Temple of Heaven is China's largest temple and altar complex, dating back to the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Important notes

1. Upon placing your order, you will automatically be sent a confirmation email with receipt of your order. Once payment has cleared, Ctrip will send you a second email confirming payment and the itinerary of your package tour. If your credit card payment does not clear, your booking will be automatically cancelled.
2. Tour pick up time is around 7:30 – 9 am at your hotel. Times may be adjusted by your guide depending on local conditions (e.g. weather, transportation, etc.).
3. We will contact you one day before your scheduled tour for final confirmation. If we are unable to reach you, we will leave a message with your hotel reception.
4. We will provide free pickup / drop off at selected hotels. Please check this list for for participating hotels. If your hotel isn’t on the list, we may still be able to provide this service; however, please inquire during the booking/confirmation process. If we are unable to provide pickup / drop off service, we will provide you with details on how to get to a convenient meeting location. We can help you arrange a third-party car service to bring you to the location and return you to the hotel if necessary. This requires additional payment.
5. Types of meals (Chinese, Western, etc.) may vary depending on group requirements and availability of appropriate restaurants. Please inform us ahead of time if you have any dietary restrictions (allergies, vegetarian, kosher, etc.).
6. If you opt to join only part of this tour, you forfeit the right to join subsequent parts of the tour, as well as the right to receive a refund for any part of the tour that you miss.
7. This tour provides Personal Standard Tourist Accidental Insurance (individual accident insurance) for each full-price passenger with total coverage of up to RMB 1 million (underwritten by PICC).
