9:00 a.m. Arrive at Tian’anmen Square

Tian’anmen Square

Beijing, the capital of the People's Republic of China, is the country's historic center of power, culture and finance. The tour starts in the heart of the city, in Tian'anmen Square. You will visit the Tian'anmen Tower, Monument to the People's Heroes, Great Hall of the People and the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong.

Forbidden City

From Tian'anmen Square, you'll walk to the Forbidden City , also known as the Imperial Palace Museum. Spanning over 180 acres, the Forbidden City was the seat of imperial China, and its collection of great halls, temples, antiques and treasures offer unique insight into China’s history.

Yuanlong Silk Store

Just before lunch, you'll have a chance to do some shopping at the Yuanlong Silk Store.

12:15 p.m. Lunch

You’ll enjoy an authentic Chinese lunch at Dongyange, Shanshuijian, Huameilun or Qiuyiyuan restaurants.

1:15 p.m. Resume tour

1:45 p.m. Arrive at Temple of Heaven

Temple of Heaven

After lunch, your final destination is the Temple of Heaven . Built during the Ming and Qing dynasties, the Temple of Heaven served as the official site of traditional ceremonies and sacrificial rites for the imperial emperors.

4:00-4:30 p.m. Return to hotel
